China Yunnan Copper Australia Limited (CYCAL) (ASX code CYU) ended its first day of trading today on the Australian Stock Exchange at 72c, a 188% premium to its listing price of 25cps after closing its initial public offering of shares heavily oversubscribed and three weeks ahead of the scheduled closing date.

China Yunnan Copper Australia Limited (the “Company”) was admitted to the official list of ASX Limited on Thursday, 25 October 2007.

Martin Place Securities Pty Ltd has been issued 2 million options at a strike price of A$0.40 with an expiry date of 3 years from the date of listing. China Yunnan Copper (Australia) Investment and Development Co. Ltd was also issued 16,428,571 options at a strike price of A$0.40 with an expiry date of 3 years from the date of listing
